Giveaway: Win a Pair of Warm WOLS Mittens!

My WōLS in action!

If you’re looking for a handmade holiday gift that will keep your whole family warm this winter, WōLS mittens are the perfect fit!

I recently had a chance to try out a pair myself, courtesy of WōLS founder, Robin Williams. I cannot emphasize enough how warm and snuggly these mittens are. Perhaps it’s because each mitten is made from recycled sweaters and blankets and lined with fleece. You read right: no new wool is harmed in the making of the mittens, so you can sleep soundly knowing that your winter accessories are environmentally friendly!

WōLS also offers a fun way to find the right mittens for you: each pair is separated into a style category, such as I Love My Team or I Am Wild About Animal Print. Simply click on the option that best describes you or your loved one and let the shopping begin!

The warmest hand in America.

Based out of Charlotte, NC, WōLS originally started as a family mitten making activity and grew into a full-fledged family business. The company is run by the Williams, who are parents to two little girls. In addition to being green, they have made WōLS a charitable product by hiring the services of LIFESPAN members — a program that works with the developmentally disabled — and donating the members profits back to LIFESPAN to contribute to their life-enriching programs. Support this family’s hard work by buying a pair of WōLS for your own family this winter! — Rebecca Bohanan
