Whether you’re in need of a new laundry bag, a tote for your little one’s sleeping bag, or a chic way to cart your dirty gym clothes home … we have just the bag for you! A little birdie told us about this eco-friendly line of fun, colorful totes — Upa-lala — and we’re in love! Handmade from designer fabrics, their eco-bags are a great way to FINALLY quit using those earth-killing plastic bags and switch to a chic, reusable alternative.

Find out more about this line and how to win this eco-bag of your own, after the jump!

Upa-lala’s eco-bags are handmade, machine washable, and include a separate layer of water resistant material inside, so you don’t have to worry about ruining the bag with wet clothes or accidental spills! Coming in three styles (zipper closure, drawstring, and backpack) and an array of sizes from snack bags (perfect for your kid’s lunchbox) to small-sized bags (a great travel tote for toiletries) to the large bag we’re giving away (pictured above), you’re sure to find a tote just right for you.

Comment on this page with your best “green” tip for helping the environment for your chance to win this colorful, bird-themed drawstring eco-bag!

The Bag: This adorable bird print was developed by Ann Kelle for Robert Kaufman Fabrics. It is an incredible contemporary cotton fabric in the UrbanZoologie collection. Colors include turquoise, dark orange, brown, moss, lime, and gold on a cream background.

Gift Box: Eco-bags ship inside a beautiful, eco-friendly box that is made of recycled paper. The boxes are acid- and lignin-free and are handmade at the Upa-lala shop.

Congratulations to Jen Brown who is the winner of this eco-friendly bag from Upa-lala! Her best “green” tip was that she reuses her kid’s artwork as giftwrap. What a great idea to save paper … and the trees!
