In the age of Evite and Paperless Post, I’m not sure how many moms are sending out actual invitations for their tykes’ birthday parties. But lets face it, there is something really exciting to kids about stuffing and stamping and mailing official announcements of their impending celebration. If you’re into the old-school way, you’ll definitely want to check out the offerings from Paper Culture.
Their invites (and birth announcements and holiday cards and thank-you notes) are both super cute, and super-duper green. Not only does the CarbonFree, wind-powered company print their modern designs on 100% post-consumer recycled paper, Paper Culture has teamed up with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant a tree in a U.S. national forest for every single order placed! Exciting stuff. Click through for more great invites and ordering information.
All Paper Culture products are printed on premium card stock with a signature matte finish and rounded corners, and come with recycled envelopes. They do offer a mail service (where they send the invites for you) for only the price of stamps, but that would defeat the purpose now wouldn’t it?
