Handmade in Berlin
I’ve been staying with a friend in the Berlin area for about a month. I am about to leave, but yesterday I wanted to do some last minute shopping for myself. Like usual, I got sidetracked by kids’ clothes. I happened upon this colorful children’s clothing shop in the Mitte area of Berlin on Oderberger Strasse. In case you happen to visit sometime, it’s a fantastic little street full of cafes, boutiques and vintage clothing shops. This particular shop carries some fun and colorful brands from Germany and Scandinavia but they also make their own clothing right there in the shop! I got to check out their little studio and was really excited. How wonderful would it be to buy clothing straight from the maker? The first day of school is a big deal in Germany, so the store was stocked with freshly sewn sailor dresses, striped skirts and darling hats in preparation for the big day. They even carry a few pieces for mom! Take a peek at my favorites from their online shop, next!

Adorable clothes, love the pipi skirt! I was unsure of the striped dress until I went to the site and saw how it fell on a manikin, very cute and perfect for fall!
