Laundry Symbols

Although many clothing tags today spell out care (machine wash warm, delicate cycle, tumble dry low), laundry also has its own language: those little symbols representing washers and dryers on your clothing tags, often with dots on them, lines under them, and Xs through them. Understanding this code language can save you a lot of grief. A primer:
