House & Hold

Having a list of shops with collections of beautiful things to scan through when you are looking for a new fill-in-the-blank makes shopping a little bit easier and takes some of the work out of buying online. It’s so much better to look through a handful of well curated shops rather than pages and pages of Amazon search results. Even if I don’t find the exact thing I’m looking for, it usually helps me narrow my search and get the job done quicker.

Next time I’m on the hunt for something for my home, I’ll definitely be scanning through House & Hold, a new online shop out of Portland Oregon. I love this part of their mission statement: ‘House&Hold is here to help make your home an inspired place of creativity, sophistication and love.’ Who wouldn’t want that? They have a handful of really beautiful, interesting things in a huge range of categories from lighting to kids furniture to wall paper. For example, see some of my favorite items from their Baby & Kids section after the jump.
