I’ve fallen hard for the terrarium trend. It’s been going strong for a while now, and thankfully it shows no sign of stopping anytime soon. I’ve been reading my fair share of how-to books on the subject, but I have a brand new favorite. Hands down.
Tiny World Terrariums by Michelle Inciarrano and Katy Maslow shows you how to create your own easily maintained little worlds. The tips on plant selection, preparation, and planting are the best I’ve seen (I learned a lot!). The authors are also the owners of Twig, which is a Brooklyn shop known for it’s quirky, magical miniature terrarium worlds, and the ladies bring plenty of that creativity to the book.
One-of-a-kind projects include a mad scientist’s lab in a vintage beaker; a beachside scene made with sea glass & driftwood; a wedding party perched on a cake platter; a desert oasis featuring a trio of camels; and many more!
Sounds good, right? Tiny World Terrariums is available now.
