How to Get Your Hands on An Xbox Kinect!

Usually Apple is the company that elicits the kind of technology hoopla that gets people talking, drooling and preordering. But Microsoft will be giving them a run for their money starting on November 4th. That day which is surely marked on many a gamer’s calendars is the first day that their new product Kinect will be available. So what’s all the fuss about? Why will Kniect be THE present this holiday season…and how do you get your hands on one?

The Kinect for the Xbox 360 is a sophisticated camera that makes it possible for the game player not to have to hold any pesky remotes at all. One doesn’t have to live in fear that your Wii remote would go flying out of your hand or will you be spending your time just sitting there on the couch. These are active games, games that will get you moving and moving freely. You are the controller. It will also feature voice recognition so it can react to your commands. So how do you get your hands on one of these units that is destined to change gaming forever?
If you already have an Xbox 360 unit, you just need to buy the Kinect and one ore more of the special Kinect games. You can order just that from Walmart here for $199. Or if you need the entire shebang, the Xbox and Kinect you can get one of the bundles from Amazon for $299 which includes the Xbox 360, the Kinect and one of the games starting at $299.99. And to be one of the first on the block to get one, and not have to stand in one of those gigantic lines, you just need to pre-order it and will be sent to you as soon as the product is realeased on November 4th.
