Make Your Own Fabric

Have you heard of Spoonflower? It is the service that allows you to print your own fabric. Check out the amazing quilt that Sarah from The Small Object made for her niece. She wrote a letter to her and then made a quilt out of it.

This is pretty much the coolest gift we can think of. There are 55 days until Christmas, plenty of time to make a few of these. There are lots more pictures after the jump.

Sarah designed the fabric with a letter to her niece and then had it printed at Spoonflower. ($18-$32 yard.) All the possibilities kind of blow my mind! What handmade gifts will you be working on this year?
