Awaken ... to a Gentle Beam of Light!

(Imagine that title said in a booming baritone voice, please.)

Moon Beam Alarm Clock

Anyway, isn’t cute? The Moon Beam alarm clock lets you choose your alarm: a bell, a gentle light, or both. It was designed in the 1950s. According to The Westclocks Source:

“Once dubbed The Considerate Alarm, it gradually wakens sleepers with a flashing soft light that increases in intensity. After 4 minutes, it sounds a bell alarm to waken heavier sleepers. Choose from Light Only, Bell Only, or Light and Bell alarm options for just the right waking experience that you need.”

L.L. Bean has them in blue, pale green, vanilla, or yellow, and The Westclox Source sells them in yellow or hot pink. The clocks will set you back $49, but isn’t it worth it for such a considerate way to wake up?
