Most awesome kids' rooms: Pirate ship room for a happy young pirate

Pirate Ship Kids' Room

The pirate ship bedroom is designed by Kuhl Design Build, an American residential design and build company.  Their client wanted a one-of-a-kind bedroom, and I’d say they certainly got what they wanted—more pics after the jump!

The pirate ship room features all the makings of a full functioning ship, without the ocean underneath.  Made from solid wood throughout, it includes a ship body, a rope bridge, jail cell, rope ladder, lookout tower and steering wheel.  There’s even space for friends to sleep over, up in the belly of the pirate ship.

It’s easy to leave reality and allow yourself to become swept away by a pirate ship fantasy in a bedroom as amazingly complete as this one—no more sending the kids to their bedroom for quiet time!

The space is cosy enough for kids to roam, and roomy enough for adults to join in.  The place is a perfect breeding ground for imagination and learning, a great goal for any child’s bedroom.
