The Martha Stewart CraftStudio allows you to create just about any card you could ever want then simply print it out. At first, I worried the app would be too limiting, but once I began to play around some, the app proved to be a good balance of creative choices and pre-selected styles.
When you first enter, CraftStudio has you select a theme for your project. Each of the four starter themes come with over thirty colors and patterns that match your occasion to set as a background. This may not seem like much, but once your add layering, corner punches, countless stickers, stamps, glitter and glue, you’ll have your hands full.
This leads me to another aspect of the app that I loved: you’re not completely overwhelmed with options. The purpose of CraftStudio is to make cards, and of course, there’s an infinite number of ways to do that. So, instead of trying to recreate those infinite possibilities in the app, CraftStudio pulls back a little to ensure the fluidity for the user. All in all, it’s a great balance. The extended themes look like a good bet too. For only $2 per style, you get 25% more content. Final verdict, The Martha Stewart CraftStudio app makes everything from wedding cards to afternoon craft projects both easy and tons of fun.
