I can’t wait till Wednesday morning, when l plan to tie on my sneaks and run down to my corner Old Navy store to stock up on these new pride tees for kids & grown ups. Would you let your kid wear one? I will. As a proud family member and friend of LGBT humans I am so excited, and well, proud, that a retailer of this size is shouting pride from the rooftops, and donating 10% of proceeds to the It Gets Better Project.
With the message that “it gets better” and the mission: “Many LGBT youth can’t picture what their lives might be like as openly gay adults. They can’t imagine a future for themselves. So let’s show them what our lives are like, let’s show them what the future may hold in store for them.” This organization is saving young lives. So thank you Old Navy for putting these tees on your floors starting Wednesday. Check out the other designs in the Old Navy pride collection after the jump…
The tees come in men’s, women’s, children’s, and baby sizes and run $7.50 to $14.50. For a list of Old Navy retail stores carrying the collection go here.
