When was the last time you spent an extra ten or fifteen minutes solely on you? Maybe on your hair or your makeup on a regular day – not when you are preparing for a fancy night… because, let’s be honest, those nights don’t count for ‘self’ time.
I know that we all have these routines, and often they are rushed as we get the kids ready for school, prepare one meal or another, head to a meeting or ready what a client needs. We are constantly juggling our families, our work, our kid’s needs, but sometimes we simply need to put ourselve first – even if it is only for a little bit. For me, taking a little time to invest in getting ready for my day can often make the difference.
I thought it would be fun to teach you one of my ‘old-school’ favorite hairstyles that is now a popular trend once again. I used to wear my hair in a fishtail braid all the time when I was a teenager, but now, with a little update, I can still do it and feel sassy and fashionable.
Here’s a quick tutorial.
