Shopping for New Jeans

Trying on Levi's Demi Curve Skinny Jeans

I wear skirts and dresses most of the time, but I did have a great pair of jeans that I used to wear pretty regularly. My weight has gone up and down a lot (having two kids in two years will do that to you), but I seem to have leveled off and now my old jeans no longer fit me. I would have grabbed a new pair of the same style in a different size, but they’ve been discontinued. Sad! So I figured it was about time to find a new pair of jeans.

My daughter just started school and my husband was at home with our napping son, so I headed out to see what I could find. Shopping, for myself by myself with no kids: novel! And fruitful. The jeans I found were skinny but not too skinny, a little stretchy (read: comfortable), and came in a nice, dark wash. None of that super low-rise business either. They look cute with a tee (mine is from here), but I usually like to dress my jeans up a bit more, so I’ll put together a few of my favorite looks with jeans in a separate post.

A big thanks to Levi’s for sponsoring this campaign. Click here to see more of the discussion.
