Gucci. An iconic brand. It’s stylish and makes a statement and it’s for those who don’t have a budget and can splurge on designer duds for themselves or in this case their daughters and sons. What does Gucci have brewing for the kid set this Fall and Winter?
The new children’s collection for ages two to eight is by their creative director Frida Giannini. It features pint sized staples that look like shrunken versions of their goods for adults. For the girls there is a classic camel hued trench – which is tres Suri Cruise-ish – as well as Gucci logo boots along with Gucci branded jeans and t-shirts. For the boys, there are Gucci logo Vans style slip-ons as well as a leather motorcycle jacket that is a natural for one of the Jolie-Pitt kids. And those movie star kids, they’re probably some of the only ones who’s folks could afford these pieces these days! There aren’t any prices yet for the items, but they’ll be available at high-end retailers. But on the bright side, Gucci will be donating $1 million dollars to UNICEF’s Schools for Africa Program.
