7 Snow Day Activities That Spark Creativity

Snow Day Activities

It’s the season of hot chocolate, cuddling by the fire, and of course, snow. While we love snow in our family, there are days where you just can’t seem to step outside … Then a snow day is announced. Kids jump for joy but parents everywhere consider the cabin fever and massive hair loss ahead. We’ve all been there once or twice and it’s not a day we wish to repeat ever again!

On those snow days, play art teacher by coming up with a list of fun and creative activities to help keep the kids occupied while they are cooped up inside the house. (They won’t miss a day of learning in our house!) You can prepare the ideas ahead of time and even have the kids help brainstorm. That way, next time you have a snow day they might not beg to go sledding but rather stay in to work on these artsy activities. Here are some snow day activities that will spark creativity in your children and keep them cozy, happy and busy.
