So Cool : A 3-D Printed Camera

As 3-D printers become more and more accessible to the Everyman, so do the really cool things you can create with them. This 3-D printed camera is created from an open source program, The Open Reflex. If you have access to a printer, you can utilize this program, with the accompanying Instructables, to create your own camera.

The program creates an analog camera with a shutter. Even better, you can use the camera with any lens. The parts print in just 15 minutes, with the entire camera assembling in under an hour.  If you’re local and want to try it out, The Chicago Public Library has 3-D printers currently available for card holders.

So cool!
