St. Patrick’s Day is just a day away. Have you made plans on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 2011? If you haven’t, why not go green! It’s a great time to make a difference! Enjoy these 3 tips that help you to “green” up your day. We have put together a few tips that will hopefully encourage you to go green!

1.Buddy Up: Leave the car behind and take the bus, train or a cab to your destination. Buddy up with friends to make it even more eco friendly. This trip will save on gas – and the party will start a little bit sooner.

2.Throw a Party: Throw an eco-friendly party. evite.com has some great ways and ideas for eco-friendly parties. The ideas include suggested decorationd, invites, what to wear, food and music. Check them out today for ideas to help you “go green” this St. Pat’s Day.

3. Be crafty
Looking to decorate for St. Patty’s? Why not cover your home in origami shamrocks? You don’t even need to use green paper. Just reuse some newspaper, magazines, junk mail or other paper that you were going to recycle. The paper gets a second use and you end up with something unique and attractive.
