While wandering the aisles of the National Stationery Show each May, there usually comes a point when my eyes begin to glaze over. It’s not that the countless cards, prints, and papers on display aren’t compelling, it’s just that after a while everything starts to run together. But at this year’s show I stopped in my tracks in front of the booth for Rifle Paper Co.
I love, love, love the hand-painted style and nostalgic vibe of their line, created by artist Anna Bond. Her work completely stood out from the paper pack.
I was taken with the whole collection, but their newest prints are especially awesome. I covet the Animal Alphabet Chart for my daughter’s room, but am equally enamored with the smaller Cowboy print (See? As promised, something great for a boy’s room!).
In addition to artwork they have lovely greeting cards and offer custom social stationery featuring your very own likeness, as painted by Anna (you send in photos for her to work from). I think this could be so cute for a kid—maybe it would get them more excited about writing thank-you notes??
