Stylish Mom Interview: Mykol

stylish jeans for every woman

Some of the most stylish women I know are moms and I know that’s no easy task to pull off. So I interviewed a couple of these lovely ladies in the hopes that they would dish on some of their secrets. Here’s what my friend Mykol had to say:

What features do you look for most when buying jeans especially now that you’re a mom?

I tend to look for dark wash jeans as I find them to be much more flattering on me. I LIVE in jeans so they have to be comfortable. Basically if they look and feel good, the price point isn’t to big of a deciding factor because I do wear them so much. As a mom I can’t wear anything with a low rise. Nobody wants to see that when I bend over to pick up my kids!

How do you stay stylish even with the busyness that comes along with being a mom?

I really try to keep it simple and classic. I find that a great pair of shoes or earrings can make an outfit stand out. I also think that a stylish but easy and fast hairstyle can do wonders!

What’s your go-to outfit?

A pair of skinny jeans and cropped sweatshirt layered over a tight shirt. Add a great pair of flats and a classy bag full of mommy necessities and I’m good to go!

What trend are you most excited to try this fall?

I’m excited that the fall pallet this year seems to be full of bright colors! I love color in simple classic design.

Okay so think dark wash jeans, classic basics with accessories and color. Thanks Mykol!
