Sunglasses For Baby That Will Actually Stay Ontoddler-times
I always feel bad for babies eyes being out in the glaring sun with nothing to protect them… and then if you do have him wear sunglasses, getting those cheap things to stay on, I mean really! And then there’s the toddler who wants to take his off and on (and off and on again and again!). Well Julbo makes a baby style that will solve some of these dilemmas. Not only do they have a sturdy cord for keeping them on baby’s face but, there’s no hinges to pinch fingers, they come in fun color combos like lime/orange and lavender/pink, and last but not least, they make them reversible (in other words, there’s no right side up). So when you’re 2 year old is putting them on with his sandy hands for the 20th time, you won’t have to adjust them for him.
You may not be able to prevent him from eating handfuls of sand but at least you can protect his eyes. And this is so important– I just learned this myself– did you know UV rays are a cause of cataracts? Often parents don’t realize how vulnerable baby’s/toddlers eyes are and overlook the need for them to wear sunglasses. It’s worth the $30! They are available on the Julbo website as well as sun-togs.com.
