Talk About a Green Thumb! A LIVING Painting

This “living painting” in London’s Trafalgar Square is a vertical green garden of Van Gogh’s “A Wheatfield with Cypress” painting, shown in the second image above.

ANS Group Europe — which designs and installs large-scale living walls and roofs — used over 8,000 plants to recreate Van Gogh’s masterpiece in 3 days. Take a look at more pictures:


The living painting will be on display in London until the end of October 2011.
