The Colorful Little Luxuries in Lifesfgirlbybay
I really get a lot of pleasure out of the little luxuries in life. Living life colorfully — by setting a pretty breakfast table, having fresh flowers around the house, or spending quiet time in pretty pajamas and a great pair of slippers. Nothing makes me feel quite as fancy as blogging in something just a little bit nicer than my yoga pants or sweats. You know, step it up a notch, even if it’s just for yourself. Here’s a few ideas for living a more colorful and luxurious life this weekend. Enjoy!
More inspiration after the jump!
Pink Babouches 1 of 6I love sliding around the house in my pink Babouches. I got mine in sweet little shop in London, but you can find them online at Kira-CPH. Way better to lounge around in than your average house slipper!
Lounging Pants 2 of 6I have a pair of these Geo-Dotted Lounging Pants and wear them probably a bit too often. They're just really comfy, but look pretty too. Paired with a soft sweater, they're the prefect loungewear.
Make Your Own Loungewear 3 of 6If you're feeling industrious, Amy Butler has a great line of fabrics, and some wonderful sewing patterns to make your own loungewear. There's a whole collection of patterns from drawstring pants, caftans to comfy dresses to wear inside, and out.
From Amy Butler.
Colorful Ikat Pillows 4 of 6I love this Ikat collection of pillows from designer Madeline Weinrib. These pillows are hand-woven in India in the traditional Ikat technique that creates a unique visual texture and colorful patterns.
From Lotus Blue.
Try some Kusmi Tea 5 of 6
Heart-Shaped Teacups 6 of 6And perfect for tea time, this colorful set of pretty porcelain heart-shaped teacups are completed with matching heart-shaped saucers. Invite some girlfriends over for tea and lounge around together!
