The Magical World of Egg Shaping - Make Lunch Even More AwesomeSunny Chanel
A transformation has occurred. An egg is no longer an egg. It’s a bear, a bunny, a fish and a car or even Hello Kitty. To make Bento boxes a bit more snazzy, the Japanese have developed the art of egg shaping. How does one make a hard boiled egg look like one of these interesting icons instead of just a plan white sphere?
With an egg mold! First you hard boil your egg just how you always would. Then, while it still piping hot, you peel the egg. You place the egg in the mold, shut the mold tight and then let it rest in cold water for about 10 to 15 minutes. And then you have your eggy magic.
