I gave this book, The One Hundred: A Guide Book to the Pieces Every Stylist Woman Must Own, to one of my long-term clients a couple of years ago as a Christmas gift and funny enough, I received the same book from her that same Christmas. Great minds think alike! Anyway, although it’s not new, I want to tell you about it because I have read and re-read this book and have to say, she has it covered. This book by Project Runway judge and Elle magazine fashion director Nina Garcia is an A to Z guide on the classic pieces we should all own (or aspire to own). Things that are timeless and perhaps worth spending a little more money on because they’ll never go out of style. It’s also helpful as a guide to what to save if you’re doing a closet purge. As a fashion stylist myself, I see so many trends come in and out that even I sometimes wonder what’s worth hanging onto. Garcia outlines it in a way that’s easy. See another image after the jump…
