Blueberry picking season is here! This great afternoon snack is sweet, tart, and packs a yummy crunch. It takes only a few minutes to prepare and will give you that extra energy you need in the middle of the day.
Every year around this time we pack the kids and a few pails into the car and head to a blueberry picking farm. We end up with 4 to 5 gallons of delicious plump berries to freeze for pancakes and tarts, to eat by themselves, or for making this favorite recipe.
What You’ll Need
COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
We like to use a small cereal bowl for mixing the ingredients. First add the blueberries and then the COOL WHIP, followed by the granola. I always sprinkle a few berries on top for garnish.
This is recipe is a big hit around our house. For a Fourth Of July spin on this dessert, add a few strawberries for color. Enjoy!
