Toile de Jouy at IKEA

Screen shot 2013-04-22 at 2.13.05 PM

I’ve been eyeing this Toile de Jouy from Ikea for the past while now. There’s something relaxing about this pattern with it’s blue hues. Kind of perfect for a bedroom.

This kind of landscape design was first printed in the small town of Jouy, outside of Paris, France, during the 19th century, and is therefore called the toile de Jouy. With the romantic bedlinen EMMIE LAND the folks at Livet Hemma turned a bedroom into a French 19th century village. I like how they made it camouflage-style.  $24.99 for queen duvet and pillowcase.
