From The Circus To Paris – Girls' Dresses Guaranteed To Turn Heads!

Shawna, the founder of Twirls and Twigs has created a collection inspired by pirouettes, nature and whimsy. For Fall 2010, Twirls and Twigs has taken a journey around the world with their designs. These dresses are unique in every way imaginable. They are made using sustainable fibers, designer left-overs and recycled cotton and  come in sizes ranging from 12 months to 8 years, making them great for matching sisters.

The Ring Leader dress ($48) is a one-of-a-kind stunner with elements of vintage, gypsy and circus fun. Candy stripe detailing, puff sleeves and the red velvet strip embellishment with star buttons across the bodice add a real retro feel to the ensemble with the adorable circus elephant applique bringing everything together.

From the circus to Russia with love. This sweet Matryoshka dress is accented with heart shaped buttons down the front and a ruffle trim at the hem. The folk art prints and darling Russian Nesting doll applique make this dress the perfect choice for girly girls.

Je T’aime, Paris! I really like the polka dot graphics, ruffled trimming and smocking details on the Eiffel Tower dress. Unlike the light, gossamer ‘French’ dresses, this one takes on a different tone with the navy blue accented with fun, bright color splashes. Of course the applique finishes it off because, how could you go to Paris without visiting the Eiffel Tower?

Twirls and Twigs donates a % of all profits to the Tree People, an environmental nonprofit that unites the power of trees, people and technology. Their goal is to grow a sustainable future for Los Angeles.
