Ubabub Revolutionizes The Crib With Futuristic Modern Designs

The new Australian brand Ubabub, has officially revolutionized the crib, with cots that are stylish, bar-free, eco-friendly and oh so easy on the eyes!

While looking high and low for baby nursery furniture to suit their modern style, parents Natasha and Daniel Dumais from Melbourne, Australia, decided to create and design their own.

Check out these futuristic sleep spaces after the jump!

With it’s round, cocoon-like shape, the Pod ($1,899.95 AUD) gives off a distinctive modern feel without being standoffish. This cozy cot features innovative clear acrylic sides with sweetest star-shaped cutouts, that are laser cut to allow for additional airflow. The beauty of this design is that the holes are small enough to keep your baby safe and there is no chance of your little one getting “stuck” between slats. As your child grows, the Pod adapts by converting into a junior bed. Genius!

All three of the the über-cool cots are environmentally friendly, made from timber plywood that has been sourced from renewable plantations and is finished with a non-toxic varnish. All components are recyclable and even the mattress is hypoallergenic, dust mite, mold and mildew resistant!

Not into the curved design? Ubabub has integrated the same bar-free style into their Nifty Clear Cot ($1,599.95 AUD). The slanted legs and clean lines of the mid-century aesthetic comes in a yummy walnut shade and like the Pod, this also converts easily to a junior bed. A matching change table can be purchased separately to complete the look of your modern nursery.

Ubabub will eventually be expanding into the International market, but for now those lucky Aussies are the only ones who can purchase these beauties from this list of retailers.
