We chose not to find out the gender of our first born, and honestly I loved the surprise factor. I did not feel the burning desire to know the sex so I could go out and buy a bunch of pink or blue items, and the same thing went for my nursery planning. I decided on a yellow and green color scheme and a friend of mine painted a gorgeous mural (a tree with birds surrounding it) on the wall. A simple and perfect nest for our little gal. This shared bedroom for a sister and brother is perfect for both of them. Love the robin's egg blue and white striped walls and yellow and black accents together. Who knew it would make such a cute combination?
