Unisex Nursery Inspiration

We chose not to find out the gender of our first born, and honestly I loved the surprise factor. I did not feel the burning desire to know the sex so I could go out and buy a bunch of pink or blue items, and the same thing went for my nursery planning. I decided on a yellow and green color scheme and a friend of mine painted a gorgeous mural (a tree with birds surrounding it) on the wall. A simple and perfect nest for our little gal. If you’re leaving your little one’s gender a surprise, click through for some gorgeous nursery inspiration that would be perfect for either sex!
Yellow and Gray
I love the look of this yellow and gray nursery that is filled with modern accents. How fun is that pouf?
Blue and Yellow
Blue isn't just for boys anymore. This gorgeous room filled with different blue and yellow hues could easily go for boy or girl.
Cream and Neutral
You can't go wrong with the clean and crisp look of creams and naturals in a nursery. Then, after baby is born, you can throw in accents of pink or blue.
Teal and Gray
Gray can really be mixed with just about every color, and I love the way teal really pops in this nursery. The animal-themed prints on the wall are a nice accent.
Green and Blue
This blue and green combo is such a calming combo... perfect for baby! Love the fresh zig zag pattern on the curtains and bed skirt.
Decorating with decals is an easy and inexpensive way to put the finishing details on your nursery. I love this animal decal with flower print... just perfect!
Orange and Blue
I'm not done with blue yet! I think this color combo works for either sex. The zig zags are back again, too, and I like how they're paired with polka dots.
Stripes and Accents
This shared bedroom for a sister and brother is perfect for both of them. Love the robin's egg blue and white striped walls and yellow and black accents together. Who knew it would make such a cute combination?
Green and Natural
I love all the green accents in this room, as green really is the quintessential color of unisex nurseries. I love how the different shades are mixed together, not to mention the adorable tree decal.
Love how this color palette encompasses just about every color in the rainbow. And how cute is that alphabet on the wall?
I love this circus/animal-themed nursery that is filled with so many bright and fun accents. How great is the hot air balloon mobile?
