Valentine's Day Craft Series: Toddler Valentines

If the wintery weather is keeping you and your toddler stuck in the house, it’s never too early to start making Valentines. We know Valentines Day crafts seem especially unappealing with toddlers — what with gooey glue and messy glitter — but here’s a way to make Valentines without the mess:

You’ll need:

  • Laminate paper
  • Red paper, streamers, pom-poms, stickers, etc.
  • Scissors

1. Cut out the laminate paper into a heart shape and peel the laminate so the sticky side is up.

2. Let your child fill in the heart with the red objects.

Craft by Heather Kempskie and Lisa Hanson, used with permission by Meadowbrook Press.
