For those who miss cradling the handset to their ear while talking on the phone, the iRetrophone brings it all back. Besides providing a place to store and charge your iPhone, it features a fully functional retro handset compatible with all iPhones (3G, 3GS, and iPhone 4). Click through for the details!
The iRetrophone is hand-cast in urethane resin with a half-inch thick base for stability–hardly your typical cheap plastic accessory. It includes USB charging and docking that works with the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4, as well as a functioning handset for making calls.
Of course, none of this comes cheap. Designer Scott Freeland offers 8 different versions of the iRetrophone on his Etsy shop with prices ranging from $195 to $250. With more than 400 sales to date, it’s a price that some are obviously willing to pay.
