What's on Your Summer Playlist?

When warm weather hits, I start changing up my soundtrack and trading out melancholy winter tunes for lighter, upbeat music. Here are a few new and old favorites I’ll be adding to my summer soundtrack this year. Any of your own favorites, you’d like to add?

I just discovered this folk-rock band from NYC and am loving their light-hearted melodies and strong vocals.

  • Pure Bathing Culture 2 of 5
    Pure Bathing Culture
This duo from Portland, OR is inspired by 80's pop music. You'll love their smooth, dreamy sound.
    $11.00 at Bandcamp.
  • First Aid Kit 3 of 5

Everyone loves these Swedish sisters for their endearing indie folk songs and gorgeous vocals. Check out their new album, The Lion's Roar.
    $9.99 at Amazon.
  • Tennis 4 of 5
The sparkly pop songs of Tennis have been on heavy rotation in my house. I love their subtle indie-pop songs that don't sound too sweet or too loud.
    $9.99 at Amazon.
  • Graffiti 6 5 of 5
    Graffiti 6
You'll recognize this British duo for their single, Free, if you listen to the radio. No summer soundtrack will be complete without this addictive electro-pop.
    $3.99 at Amazon.
