Wouldn't this Cute Tote Bag be Perfect for Your Budding Politician?

tote bag The Old Village Hall congress

Isn’t this a charming tote bag? I would use it to carry library books.

It’s available at Old Village Hall, which is a real live place located in the East Village. The store features the hand screen-printed work of Scott Hill, which is used to upholster reclaimed furniture, and make throw pillows, bags and totes. I like this description of the collection: “vintage and curious objects that further define and help articulate a view of the future that is composed of elements from the past.” I’m all for curious objects. And I like the idea of carrying a bit of history with me throughout the day. You can pick one up for only $20.
