We love Valentine’s Day at my house.
It’s not just a celebration of romantic love, after all, so why can’t parents use the holiday as a reason to treat their kiddos with a little memento of their affection? It doesn’t have to cost a lot of money or involve much planning to make your child feel a little extra special on this extra special day.
We like to celebrate with a sweeter-than usual breakfast (think: strawberry pancakes with whipped cream), a special note tucked in their lunch boxes, and an inexpensive treat upon their return from school in the afternoon.
Here are some ideas that any child would love, all handmade and all cost $10 or less.
