It has been a LOOOOOONG time since I was a kid, but having three kids now myself — I get the awesome thrill to see all the kid-things again through their eyes and experiences. Most of it is totally awesome, getting to color again, be super silly, crafts and board games. It is really the best of both worlds.
There are days I wish I could return to the relatively stress-free, little responsibility lifestyle of kids, but then I remind myself — they don’t have it all easy either. There is a lot to learn, a lot of new and scary things and well, parents just don’t always understand.

Growing Pains 1 of 10Oh do you remember the aches in your legs after a long day? I am so glad I don't have those anymore.

Strict Bedtime 2 of 10It's funny, when we're kids we want to stay up forever and then never wake up in the morning. I am glad now, as an adult, I can make my own sleep schedule.

Clumsy Feet 3 of 10Now, I still kind of have the clumsy feet, but for the most part it's not the same. When young you're feet grow before the rest of your body so you have that awkward tripping over yourself thing.

Growing Into Teeth 4 of 10When the baby teeth fall out and the adult teeth come in and you still have a kid face and huge teeth... heh.

Can’t Reach The Snack Cupboard 5 of 10Not only are you not able to reach the cupboard, if you did, you're not aloud to snack when you want.

Having To Eat Veggies You Don’t Like 7 of 10I love my vegetables, but there are some I can't stand. As a child, you are usually told to eat your veggies, even if you wanted broccoli but got carrots.

Nearly Always With Chaperon 8 of 10I like hanging with people, but sometimes it's nice to be alone. When you're a kid, you don't always get that luxury.

Being Told You’re Not Old Enough 9 of 10Now these day's I am told I am too old, but when I was a kid, I hated being told I wasn't old enough yet. Feeling like a big kid but told you're not = not fun.

Having to Learn a Whole Lot of Complicated Things 10 of 10I love learning and it's awesome I still get to learn everyday. I am glad that I'm not a kid and having to learn the complicated things like reading, riding a bike, cooking, social niceties.
