10 Small Things That Make My Kids Really Angry

10 Small Things That Make Kids Really AngryI don’t like to be serious all the time and growing up with 2 brothers and 1 sister, we would always do things, small things, that irked each other. Sometimes it was on purpose and sometimes it was a total accident, but there are things that just make us angry.

Now that I have three kids of my own, I have realized that they too have small things that just seem to set them off. Many of the things that make them angry are typical kid things like being asked to do something they don’t want to at the moment.

Check out the 10 small and simple things that seem to really set off the anger-sharks for my kids:

Not Giving Them The Right Color
We have colored plates and cups for the kids food and I will get the angry stares if I don't give them the right color. Tip: Buy all the same colored plates!

I don't know why... I don't get it, but don't ever mix the Lego.

I don't know why it bothers them so much, but it can be funny. If I take their sock off their foot, they're so not pleased with me.

You would think they would be used to it by now, right? They go to bed every night at the same time, yet still get angry when I say they can't stay up later.

    Insisting They Share
When my kids have a new toy, they don't want to share it with anyone. If they got a joint toy (like their iPad), insisting they share can get a little iffy.

I don't know what it is about my kids and their boots, but they love them. They will get mad at me when I insist they can't wear them in the living room.

I do this one because it makes me laugh, but man do they hate it! I mouth the words they're saying and they go crazy.

  • Asking Them to Play in the Playroom 10 of 10
Asking Them to Play in the Playroom
You would think I kicked them out of the house with the reaction I get. If I am wanting to clean the main floor or just get a moment rest, i will ask my kids to go play in their playroom. It's full of toys and fun, but for some reason they get mad that I won't be with them.
