The holidays are a harried time – and if you’re stopping for a quick fast-food fix between shopping and decorating, why not help out others, too? Starting November 10, McDonald’s corporation launches its annual McHappy Day campaign. This initiative raises funds for Ronald McDonald Houses, where families can stay while their children undergo critical medical treatments, and also supports the organization’s mobile healthcare program and college scholarship initiatives. Moms can support the cause by buying a Happy Meal or Mighty Kid’s Meal or by purchasing a paper hand for $1, $3, or $5 at any McDonald’s restaurant.
