We may live in a world of consumerism but marketing to my kids outside of television screen leaves me exhausted and frustrated. Nearly everywhere I turn my kids are faced with temptation of the sugary, fun, or adventurous variety while I get stuck holding the unfun bag of disappointment.
“Mommy never says yes,” laments my 4 year old and in a lot of ways he’s right. Mommy never does say yes because doing so will forever haunt my chances of ever saying no again.
I hereby offer this personal plea to consumer giants and leaders of industry to STOP with these 5 things:
