I wore two sweaters, a huge jacket, a scarf, hat, and gloves. BUT I forgot about my feet. My toes froze! Next time I'm wearing winter boots.
I love these boots from Zappos

The bigger your group the better! It makes it a party. Someone in our group even brought small tent. The kids played in it until it was disassembled minutes before the parade. So fun!
After the Parade: Who’s Going to Carve the Roast Beast? 5 of 5
Not you! Don't expect to have the energy to cook a Thanksgiving meal after the parade. We were exhausted. We got home at 12:30pm, took long naps, and went over to our cousin's house in Harlem at 5pm. The timing was perfect. I would suggest either going to a friends house for a late dinner or going to a restaurant.
