5-Year-Old (Temporarily) Replaces Retiring Belarus Soccer Player (Video)

I stumbled across this video yesterday, and even though I can’t understand a word of what’s being said, I couldn’t stop watching it. It is insanely adorable.

There are conflicting reports on what exactly is happening in the video, but that doesn’t take away from it’s adorableness. The YouTube caption states that the boy is the son of the retiring player, while a longer explanation from MSN says that he’s the son of a the CEO of a Russian Children’s Charity that hosts soccer camps for kids and the teams agreed to allow the boy to play as a thank you to his dad. Either way, it’s a cute story, and an even cuter video. The players look like they’re really enjoying the change of pace, and the look on the boy’s face says he’s having the time of his life.

You can see the full video below. Be prepared to smile like a total goofball.
