The magic is in the air friends! Christmas is less than two weeks away and while adults are super busy getting all the behind-the-scene things done, our kids are checking off their calendars — excited for the day Santa comes.
Christmas was one of my favorite times when I was a kid. I can still remember the excitement of the last day of school before the holiday break. I remember the fun of making a wish list and of course, how impossible it was to sleep on Christmas Eve.
Now that I am an adult with three kids of my own, the magic is a little different. I am more concerned with making things fun and happy for the kids and the magic goes away for me a bit. It’s not better — just different and it’s funny how different the holidays are for kids vs. when you’re an adult.
