How Far Would you go to Protect Your Child? Restraining Order Anyone?

My youngest child was just pushed and grabbed by another child today who frequently does this to her. She cries. She tells on him. But he does it again and again. It infuriates me.

I want to handle it myself with the bullying child rather than go through the school time and time again. But even though I cannot stand the thought of someone bullying my kid, that is not the right thing to do.

This came across my reader earlier today and I have to say that I am a little appalled by the fact that the bully of this kid was not expelled. He brought a knife to school yet was only suspended for five days.

So what did the father do? He took out a restraining order.

While our situation certainly hasn’t gotten to this point and probably never will, I think that the father took extreme actions to protect his son.

What do you think?
