Now that you’ve determined your child is ready to stay home alone, it’s time to prepare them for this new rite of passage. The good news is that staying home alone doesn’t need to be a scary experience. With a little bit of preparation, open communication, and helpful guidance, parents and kids can embrace this important next step in maturity.
