My head is stuffy, my ears are plugged, I’m exhausted and I just feel…off. Like last night, I went out for margaritas and tacos with my girlfriends and after one margarita and a taco, I felt awful. I was sure I was going to have to run to the bathroom to be sick. Four glasses of water later, I felt somewhat better but the room was still kind of spinny and my stomach was not a happy camper. I’d blame it on the margarita, but we all know I have better tolerance than that. Ahem.
Anyway, I don’t have time to be sick.
The house is a disaster, there are, what seems like, 87 baseball practices in the next few days, along with dinners to cook, lunches to make, appointments to attend, and at least 10 loads of laundry to be washed, folded and put away. Not to mention the work on the house that needs to be done and the writing, OH THE WRITING, that I’m behind on.
All I want to do is take some Nyquil and sleep for the next 18 hours. But that’s, sadly, not possible.
What’s a girl to do? When you fell “the sick” coming on, what are your no-fail ways to stop it? I’ll take all of the advice I can get.
