In the 602 posts I’ve written on the Babble platform, I’ve received buckets of love, support, constructive criticism and healthy debate that have made me more than just a better parent, they’ve made me a better person.
Thank you for allowing me to share my stories and preserve this chapter of my life for my children as much as myself. Motherhood at its worst can be terribly isolating and at its best, surprisingly empowering. Without you I may never have known the latter. Thank you for every post you’ve read, prayer you’ve offered, and comment you’ve taken the time to write.
Y’all are a unique bunch. My time writing for you has taught me to give more, share better, and most of all, have fun! You expected as much because you deserve as much and dammit, I only hope that I delivered.
As much as I hate sharing personal resolutions, I made a personal promise to myself this coming year to better focus on my family and accept my limitations. It’s difficult to throw off the warmth and comfort of my Babble bed, but it’s something I need to do right now.
Friends, thank you – thank you- thank you for all the love and support over the years, I can only hope something I’ve written has somehow, someway offered a hint of comfort or laughter in return.
To new beginnings.
