Kelly Ripa Came For A Visit – You Should Too!

Kelly Ripa Live in Banff ticketsKelly Ripa took her Live! With Kelly crew to my backyard this week. She has been broadcasting all her shows from Banff, nestled in the Rocky Mountains just an hour from my home in Calgary, Alberta.

I entered to win tickets for her show, and wouldn’t you know it – they arrived 2 days after she was done taping! Tough luck for me, but Kelly’s visit could mean good luck for you to come and experience one of the most beautiful places on earth.

“Ripa” not only marveled at the majesty of the Rockies and Banff National Park, but she was also invited to help highlight this summer’s Calgary Stampede, also known as The Greatest Outdoor Show On Earth. This year will be the Stampede’s Centennial, and your family is invited to come – for free!

The contest is open for entries on the until April 20, 2012. The lucky winner will be announced on May 7, 2012.

The Calgary Stampede is a big deal, and it’s a great party. Such a great party that CNN named it one of the 20 best in the world. Last year Will and Kate came to start our Stampede Parade, and Will even tried his hand at chuckwagon racing. One woman won a VIP trip to the Calgary Stampede during the Showcase Showdown on The Price Is Right.

The Calgary Stampede is also a great showing of community spirit. There are pancake breakfasts every day across the city, everyone dresses in western wear and office windows are painted with Stampede themes.

Think “Christmas in July” and you’ve got the vibe of Calgary during Stampede week.

So .. are you coming over?
