The Viceroy’s Rankings
This relatively new hotel (in its third season) is located slope-side at the family-friendly Snowmass Mountain near Aspen, CO. The hotel is full of wonderful perks for those looking for understated luxury, minimalist chic interiors, suites that work well for large families, and delicious food courtesy of the hotel’s more formal Eight K Restaurant. (For a low-key alternative, Nest Lounge & Cafe in the hotel’s basement has sushi and small plates to share.) The Viceroy has wisely realized that families need washer/dryers in their rooms, as well as kitchenettes for in-room breakfast before hitting the slopes. And the staff members are eager to please; babysitting or complimentary rides to the grocery store or into Aspen for dining and entertainment options are all easily arranged through the front desk.
