My 10 Favorite Chapter Books for Young Children

We are a family of readers. Whether we read from traditional paper books, the iPad, or even our phones, we’re always reading something.

Before we had kids, I wondered if they’d love reading the way I do and was thrilled to see that each of them are cultivating a love affair with books that I hope lasts a lifetime.

While we read stacks of books every day, I’ve long looked forward to the day when we could begin reading chapter books together.

Now that Katie is at an age where she seems interested, I’ve spent some time poking around to collect a good range of chapter books to add to her collection.

Here are my pics for best chapter books for your 4- to 8-year-olds…enjoy!
